Better L.E.D than never...
I'm not early to blog about the L.E.D Festival but yet again better LED (late) than never. I showed up at LED, on my own riding solo like De rulo. A little, I was there about 8pm, while regretting having missed PROFESSOR Green and his chav raps, Sub Focus and the Mighty GOLDFRAPP (Qui. i managed to miss Goldfrapp on a free ticket, foolish and bitter me!) Anyway, I headed straight for the funky section, raving a long with other raving heads who clearly made sky rocket business for Fosters, Guiness etcetra. Anyway, they had a great lineup of Skepta + Boy better Know, collaborating on some GRUNKY stuff (Grime+Funky=GRUNKY!), David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Audio Bullys, Zinc, Annie Mac, SHY FX, Aphex Twin (always thought he's a weird one yet i carry him on my iPod). I loved Leftfield's set. They were the last act and got us moving with their Los De Rio's Makarena remix. I makarenad and everybody makarenad! They however had some serious Rasta vibes which made the crowd reciprocate with their blazing of grass, herbb, plant whatever its called, it had me on a temporary artificial high! The vids take donkeys to upload, So i'll post when ready...

...The return of the blogger.
I feel just like Kanye coming back from a hiatus. I ran out of gas at some point and
ran away from blogsphere world. I'm back with balls of energy.
I should stress that I'm digging into this world of fantasy and story-telling, yes I have always been queer. I mean filmmaking and story telling! I'm exposed to immense banging and uber cool music. I've also discovered an array of wickedly awesome musicians one of them being Ed Sheeran, artists and curators so will share on this. The blog will discuss politics here, there and everywhere. I leave you with a musician whose songs seem to be talking about my exact lifestory. AMY MACDONALD...(She's a Scottie & so young to be this very talented)

This is some of their new collection and they regularly have Stock SALES, you'll have to check their website or in store. I usually buy my Arrogant pieces from Ebay, yes i admit, I get them genuine, new & cheaper or in boutiques, where I'm a loyal customer and I get knock off priced items everytime. LoL. Check out the Sequin Tuxedo , I'm falling head over heels! I want it.

THIS Week....
I've been completely immersed in ECKHART TOLLE's big seller "A NEW EARTH". This book is unlike most self-growth books,it is about bringing you into conscious thinking and if you ever thought happiness was about celebrating your achievements, this book will make you think again! Apparently to Tolle, btw who has been recommended on Oprah's Book Club, Our happiness is not tied to any content or material we possess, it is found with acceptance with whatever situations we find ourselves in, "good" or "bad" orderly or disorderly! Ahhh....I Loved it, you can't think the same after reading it!..."BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY...Read A NEW EARTH"

Be Learned & Inspired.
My friends never seem to comprehend as to why I'm always watching a movie. It's like an obsession, they seem to think. I watch movies because they are a voice to a lot of the issues in our community, it's the closest you can relate to another man's life struggles. I watch movies also as a Learning and inspiration tool, half of the things I know, I've learnt faster through stories in movies than reading a 700 page book. This week's movie, is LORD OF WAR. Watch it closely and half of the question you ask as to why so much war, especially in poor countries will be answered. This movie is a precise depition of the present Gun Trade, that is exploiting the poorer countries' vulnerability to tribal and religious conflicts. I promise you, it's another world you didn't know much about.

It's a Twitter Thang!
Twitter is a social networking site that seems to be giving Facebook, myspace and all these other Networking sites real competition. It informs your friends and those who follow your Twitter page, your thoughts and actions within that moment. Please follow my Twitter page @TrudyMagnifique. And there's also some folks on there that are very inspirational and are go-getters i.e motivational, and You Look Great who has inspirational-humorous quotes like
"choose your own destiny or the booze will choose it for you."
"every obstacle in your path is another opportunity to fake an injury and go home."
"if everybody's dreams came true, the world would have no garbage men. Therefore be thankful for life's high failure rate."
"somewhere out there, somebody you love very much blames you for everything."
There are also a List of actors and artists, also Entrepreneurs with some great advise and information. Twitter can also be very useful if you want to promote a product or an event to a wider market. Oh, comment on this post too, if you're on Twitter and would want us to be friends. Spread the Love!

Recycled Fashion.
While the economy is on a downturn spiral, clothing designers and artists are making low cost and eco-friendly products. Designer Michelle Jank, sais that she was inspired to produce "something grand out of nothing special/rubbish" for her exclusive Ponystep Editorial with Paul Scala.

This is what the designer behind this Concept had to say.
“I was inspired by the GFC [global financial crisis],” explains photographer Scala. “The thought that this year, with a lack of money, people will be forced to recycle and reuse ... In this case we used black plastics mixed with fashion pieces.”

Naomi on GIANT...May ‘09 issue!
Miss Campbell never seems to slow down with these Cover shoots. This Month she is the Cover model for GIANT Magazine, a soul-urban magazine. In it she gives an account of her model career and opens up about personal issues. She's rocking that natural Afro hair and maintains fabulosity!

Excuse me Miss!
These babies are just too Fine. I suppose they are quite darn pricey but look out for the best imitation in stores such as Kurt Geiger and Carvela, Nine West with affordable price tags. They get it just as right as these self-proclaimed designers.
